sooooo slow

I haven't tried running myth in a while, and when I tried to lode it again recently it was painfully slow. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. It worked until I loaded 1.6 then the problem came back. does anybody know how to fix that.

What kind of computer do you have? Are your graphic card drivers updated? Did you try to switch to different rendering options like either OpenGL or Direct3D to see if there is a difference? Was it slow even in single player or just online? Are you using PC or Mac? If PC (Windows), were you using the modern update or the classic update? If you are on Windows 2000 or higher you normally use the modern version. However, if you have issues, you try the classic update. Both are in the same updater, just select one and run the updater again if you want to try the other.

thanks for the help. I switched to open gl and it worked. Thank you guys
