So, Ive had Myth 2 before on this computer... (Running XP) But I did a system wipe and had to reinstall it. No matter what I do whenever the game starts up i hear the opening music and then the game just crashes. This is in every version PRE 1.6. If I patch it to 1.6 then when I open the exe it just sits there for a bit and then nothing happens. Task manager shows myth 2 is being run buy only at like 2000kbs of RAM and I can't access it.
Same deal with the demo. Any help?

In this case it just never even really starts up though, so I don't know if the problems are even being recorded.
I thought that it could be the whole 'cant find the cutscene' thing but then it would say
'Warning: Unable to find cutscene 'prologue.smk'.' But it doesn't... So
Anyone give me a hand here?

so this still doesn't work. I obtained a fresh .iso file, tried running it from small install, tried doing a large install, nothing same problems. It either crashes entirely or just never starts to beg in with. Ive run this game on this computer before- the only difference being that i am now in windows xp as opposed to vista. It might be a driver issue? I don't have any other drivers for this graphics card this is all that there are... I cant think of any other reason though. Anyone else have any ideas? I'm a lettin' my team down in the winter series!
