Is there any possibility the caps lock issues people are having can be fixed within a few weeks in some sort of beta update to guarantee that 1.7 will be used for the upcoming MWC tournament?
It would really be a shame to not use 1.7 with its significant gameplay fixes just because of one grievance.

Don't worry, it will be fixed. Atm we're having an internal debate over the best way to resolve it, and soon there'll be a poll thread outlining the options where ppl can have their say and vote. The more players (especially, but by no means only, veterans) contribute their views the better.
