Max number of Buddies?

Okay, is it just me, or is something messed up with the Buddy List. I only have 6 buddies, and I can't add anymore.

Serious guys, is there a limit of how many buddies you can have? Also, back on Bungie.net you could buddy a person and even though they might not buddy back, you'd have them in your buddy list, it just wouldn't light up if they came on. Has this changed on Marius.net?
