I've restarted myth for at least 3 times now, and I'm not able to type in myth, use the camera controls, or use the keyboard in any way for any thing in myth.

I'm on a mac os x (snow leopard), and before it seemed like this problem could be solved with restarting myth. It doesn't stop now however.
Indeed, very weird. It seems to occur when you use myth and switch to safari while loading a page. Or generally, I think it happens when you switch myth with another program.
I've heard some people mention it and they were on Snow Leopard. I hadn't heard of this until Snow Leopard was released. Maybe Myth doesn't like some change in the OS.
Make sure your program focus is actually Myth and not another problem when you Tab. Sometimes you physically have to close inside the Myth window in order for it to get focus again.

I could use my mouse to control some units, so the focus was definitely in myth.
