I am trying to get the Epilogue with Nine Skull Crocodile to play.
After The Forge level, the cutscene with SB's death plays, but the Epilogue does not play. Instead, my screen states, "Epilogue Goes Here."
Has anyone encountered a similar issue?
Thanks.

Re: Myth 2 Epilogue
I remember having that issue, but that was quite some time ago. I can't even remember if it was on classic or on OSX.
Check your myth_log.txt maybe?

Re: Myth 2 Epilogue
Also check your cutscenes folder and verify the epilogue video is actually there. You can download high resolution copies of all the cutscenes in quicktime format (which plays direct in myth on 1.7.1) on The Tain.
Re: Myth 2 Epilogue
Are you playing that map with a certain plugin enabled? What version of Myth2 are you on? What does your myth_log say? The epilogue is not a cutscene, gray, he plays that one fine.

Re: Myth 2 Epilogue
I did not have any plugins enabled at the time I played that level--just straight up Myth 2. All the cutscenes played, but at the very end, I got the "Epilogue Goes Here."
I have the Myth Worlds CD--does this make a difference? Would I not have encountered this issue if I had a "normal" Myth 2 Soulblighter CD?
Thanks.

Re: Myth 2 Epilogue
Oh, and I was playing version 1.7.
Re: Myth 2 Epilogue
The M2 CD in Myth II Worlds is the same as a normal Myth II CD. The latest version is 1.7.1 just in case you didn't know. (newer than 1.7) What build of myth 2 are you using? Windows? OSX? PPC? What does your myth_log say? Find it in your Myth II folder, it gets deleted each time you open up Myth again. Load The Forge and then press ctrl +. Then after you get to the end to see the epilogue and it takes you back to the main menu, close myth. Open the myth_log and copy paste what it says onto here.
Re: Myth 2 Epilogue
Per Pyro's advice, the + in ctrl+ has to be the one on the keypad.

Re: Myth 2 Epilogue
I have a laptop and do not use a keyboard. But on my laptop, I think there is a keypad equivalent of the + when I hold down the blue Fn key and /.
Would (Ctrl)+(Fn /) also work?

Re: Myth 2 Epilogue
Don't know, why don't you try it and let us know. Ctrl + in solo maps triggers an automatic win while Ctrl - triggers a loss.

Re: Myth 2 Epilogue
Ctrl and Fn/ works.
I uninstalled Myth and did a clean install and updated to 1.7.1.
Now there are no more issues with the Epilogue.
I came across another issue however, while playing on OpenGL at 1680x1050.
I performed this test with the first ten meshes. In the first eight meshes, both the narration and the level displayed at 1680x1050--the narration appeared very small and the level appeared normal.
However, in the last two meshes (Escape from Madrigal and Landing at White Falls), the resolution automatically switched itself: both the narration and level displayed at 640x480--the narration appeared normal-sized and the levels were unplayable b/c only a fraction of the usual display was visible (camera zoomed in very close, could not zoom out or select units).
Looks like I will have to play on Direct3D mode from now on.

Are your graphics card drivers updated? It could help.
