Blades apparently had dvds chocked full of stuff from Myth 2 (from I believe psds that contained the graphics for the Myth world maps, to original unit models). There was also the Mill archives.

You can fit an awful lot of files on a DVD, I can't imagine he had several DVDs chock full of official stuff from Myth 2 (which is what I infer from your mention of original source graphic files) - I'd be suprised if _all_ the original source graphics files for M2 wouldn't fit on a single DVD.

As for the highly-coveted-rumored-to-exist-but-no-one-has-ever-proven-their-existence, Clem had a copy of the Mill Archives or at least he wrote 'Mill Archives' on a couple of DVDs and took a photo of them after the mill shut down for good. But who really knows what was on those DVDs? For all we know it was just a farewell joke to annoy the people who he felt never appreciated what he had contributed to the community over the years. (this is pure conjecture on my part, I don't know either what was on the DVDs in the picture, OR what Clem's motivation was in posting the photo) Blades has said that he doesn't even know IF he has any Mill backups, which I believe because The Mill was never _his_ site, and he was (afaik) never even an administrator of the Mill. The mill was Clem and Frigidman's baby (Clem administered the site, and Frigidman wrote the code that made it work and in it's last incarnation he hosted it on his web server as part of his 'fileball network'). At one point when the mill was AWOL, Blades started creating his own uber map/file archive, but when the mill came back online he abandoned that project. There was talk his site and the mill were going to merge, but I don't think that ever came to pass. But back to the point, for the reasons I mentioned, I wouldn't be suprised at all if Blades really doesn't have a copy of the Mill archives.

 Pural was more in reference to the "Myth 2 stuff from Blades + Mill stuff from Clem". Gray was the one who talked to Blades about the Myth stuff.

since you didn't mention clem in your original comment i was just responding to your statement that Blades had mill backups.

I'm pretty sure at some point someone on the Flying Flip HL server (when it was running) said that Clem gave the so called Mill archive dvds to Blades. :?

But then I might be misremembering, we are going back a fair few years...

I love imagining the latter.
Okay I got the models but now I'm too dumb to do anything with 'em

i do try to keep from making assumptions. i think it's a reasonable hypothesis that he has (or had) a copy of the Mill archives, but any one could write 'Mill Archives' on a couple of DVDs and post a picture.

Ya guys anyone can get access to those discs in the picture. Go find a blank DVD-R and write "Mill Archives" on it, you're golden, sell it on ebay to some gullible myth fan for $300!

(yes this was a horrible joke, please dont hurt me :P)

if it was meant to parallel the recent drama in the community here, it missed it's mark.

if not, then carry on.
