cool ... would be great if there was an omni patch from your version D for those of us with limited bandwidth...

ditto Point's point re version D. If you have or can make an omni from d-day-1944-hr-1-7d that'd be much obliged.

sure, so thanks to Magma the plug in it's total it's up there
I'll do tonight an omni patch from the previous 1.7D version and upload to udogs

the full download is here:

http://tain.totalcodex.net/items/show/d-day-1944-hr-1-8

there's 1 map (dday multiplayer) that somehow went berzerk and won't load....not a clue as why....didn't have time to check the logs
will be for next time...anyways dday coop single player can be played in multi
still I would encourage to try the 2 new maps: railroads and at all costs (point's saving private ryan)

ill look for the patch download tonight... I already went over my download allowance on hughes net today and am currently on restricted speed.... (note to anyone Hughesnet satilite sux's :) the good news my upload speeds are unchanged still a whopping 4k/sec :)

I started the wava upload process so by next thursday or friday we should have plenty of wwii to go around ;)

here's the link to the patch:

http://hl.udogs.net/files/Uploads/%20Us ... s/patches/

although it's so heavy almost no difference to the complete file....
I guess I did some pretty heavy renders....jeeez just 2 more maps and more weapons and 2 tanks and it's almost 170mb more......

Here's the full plug:

http://tain.totalcodex.net/items/show/d-day-1944-hr-1-8

what time pacific time will you play tomorrow?
not sure I can be there unless it's at night....
but I'll try....anyways if you play test this things:

1.railways loubet sud new multiplayer map. Is it cool?

2.Point's at all costs map. Looks amazing...is it fun?

3.I tried implementing an auto-assign script for 2 players coop on DDAY single player multi, but I think it's f...up...any ideas how to do so?

4.If you kill more than 5 units and you therefore vet...you get some dogs to kill for ya....does it really work?

5. The radio projectile, gives a special attack.(not the primary attack that sucks, but the special)...really long range cannon shot...
is it cool? or sucks?

6. anyone has a clue why DDAY multi (not the single player map used for coop, but the no scripting multi) crashes? and how to fix it?

let me know all bugs...to try to do a final version soon.
I want to move soon to finishing the Greek plug.....
Enjoy!!!

you can drop the size of the plug down quite a bit

doesnt look like your using my US tanks collection that would save 36 meg

the german vheicle tag if unused would take out another 11 meg

two pantther tank collections ... taking out one would save 13 meg

possibly a bunch of old titans bits and things from your first version of 1994 old mg guy and tanks etc...

also looks like two german soldier tags
theres a grass detail texture that is about 10x bigger than it needs to be

all in all i bet you could slim the plug down by at least another 50 meg ;)

note be carefull when doing it... i slimmed mine down by 100 and broke a bunch of projectiles that referenced old stuff.... using Tars Chaos might be the best way to do it.... Extract each mesh and it will grab all related files for that map... well almost all you still need to manually do the detail textures and detail maps... :)

might want to check the sound folder for size also...

Let me guess, you didn't think about compressing this patch file you speak of? I thought you wanted it as small as you could make it. :P

Well the first PWAH night was good and a number of people were in attendance. We should look forward to scheduling another one soon(TM). Carl's And Point's map plugin made for a very good coop and multi experience.
