hehe, just 1 but they are the fastest units on the map, hit and run, ideally for reconnaissance...
I think they are pretty fun, cause they add a lot of mobility to the army...
Point let me work on his normandy mesh, which is an amazing huge map with roads and marshes, and this units are specially for that map, so big you'll need a recon to catch the other army and find their positions
DDAY 1944 HRes 1.7 Beta released!
Re: DDAY 1944 HRes 1.7 Beta released!
well your renders are of course much higher res than mine simply looks like map makers are gonna have plenty of options for wwii... 3 different motorcycles and a bundle of jeeps to play with .
if one does not learn from the failings of the past they are likely to suffer its return.

Re: DDAY 1944 HRes 1.9 Beta released!
1.9 the final release before the final plug is done is up on the tain:
http://tain.totalcodex.net/items/show/d-day-1944-hr-1-9
-it has some new units (bmw bike, usa jeep, pak 40 anti tank gun, sniper soldiers)
and some totally new attacks and weapons.
-there's a new map by Point. MONTEBOURG. it's a huge map where your mission is to destroy all german roadblocks, clear a town of germans and basically destroy all opposition.
-fixed a bunch of things, and changed how some things work.
if anyone is interested in scripting let me know as Ardennes and Montebourg need help in scripting to polish them and make them more interesting.
this is the last update before fixing problems and releasing...
So please help me out testing it.
I can test during the weekend, just let me know which days/time you are available and we can set up some games.
cheers~!!!!

Re: DDAY 1944 HRes 1.7 Beta released!
I'd be glad to test this week end. I miss my usual HD ww2 fix since Point and ditwidget disappeared from the face of the earth and wAva got on hold (at least afaik. I'm eagerly awaiting a denial)
Also looking forward to playing the Greek plug when it is done (will it play fine in coop ? I remember reading somewhere it had so much stuff going on it was affected by heavy lag or oos issues. May be eons ago though)
Cheers,
bigbro
PS. I like that jeep

looks like some great improvements and I like what you have done so far with the normandie map (mountberg)
