Free Computer Games
Where is a good site I can download some computer games for free? Full version, not the demos.
Re: Free Computer Games
There's lots of free-to-play games out there these days depending on what you like. League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth and soon DOTA2 are pretty popular if you enjoy that genre. Team Fortress 2 is now a popular free-to-play team shooter.
I'll also mention there's tons of really inexpensive games available if you watch for sales on Steam. Especially the Christmas sale coming up soon is usually insane... you can get lots of amazing games for as low as $5 or less. Steam also has a free-to-play section as well so browse that and see if anything looks interesting.

Yeah I gotta wikipedia all of the things you just mentioned. I used to play age of empires II. I re-downloaded the demo and played it. Its old of course but pretty fun. Empire earth demo too. both old games but thats what I like.
Re: Free Computer Games
Speaking of Empire Earth, gog.com is giving it away as a free promo. Tomorrow. They have a few other free games on there too--you have to pay for most of the catalog, but they're cheap and well worth it.
You might also like Battle for Wesnoth, which is a good freeware TBS game.

Interesting. Which one? I am playing the old ones from like 2000 lol. I want to find the full programs of AoE and EE.

Here's a new, free-to-play version of AoE: http://ageofempiresonline.com/
Re: Free Computer Games
That would be the original Empire Earth, complete with the expansion, for free. You'll have to register on the site, but they're legit, and they've got a lot of games and they run promos all the time. Most of their catalog is currently 50% off until the beginning of January--I just bought four games from the Ultima series for a total of $6.BIG KROK V8 SS wrote:Interesting. Which one? You probably already know this (I assume most people who frequent this forum probably do), but in case you don't, you can grab Marathon and all of its sequels/3rd-party conversions from http://marathon.sourceforge.net/.
The cake is a lie.

Re: Free Computer Games
I did not, but thanks.
I'll check out the Empire Earth full game. I'd also like to find AoE II, the one from like 1999 or w/e. I also want to download some Need for Speed games.
Oh also, how do you play N64 games on your computer? Like how can I play against other people online and stuff? Or does that all require an Xbox360? I've heard of Goldeneye and Perfect Dark for XBLA but I don't know what that is. I wanna be able to use N64 controller and play the games on my computer, I guess playing vs. other people online is just an extra.

Re: Free Computer Games
There is a Half Life 2 mod called Goldeneye: Source. Haven't tried it but its meant to be the N64 game on the Source engine.

That version looks really... cartoonish by the screenshots. Is that the actual new one in comparison to the older ones?punkUser wrote:Here's a new, free-to-play version of AoE: http://ageofempiresonline.com/

Yes, it's the new one and I think it's intentionally stylized. I haven't played either though so I don't know. My guess is if you're looking for a multiplayer community it's worth checking out the newer one.

I wanna get the full original rollercoaster tycoon games and expansion packs too. Those were fun
Re: Free Computer Games
Also on GOG, incidentally. The first one and its two expansions are bundled as a package for $3 right now, since everything is 50% off.BIG KROK V8 SS wrote:I wanna get the full original rollercoaster tycoon games and expansion packs too. Those were fun
