The Fallen Levels

Post by BIG KROK V8 SS »

The units on the fallen levels are mixed when TFL gameplay is not selected. it has firbolg archers, TFL physics dwarf, and regular warriors. maybe i'm asking too much but can't these levels be all their myth 2 equivalents when TFL is not selected? on myth 2 solo maps, all of your units are tfl style when you select TFL style.

just would prefer to have one or the other. am i asking too much?

This has been brought up before, as well as other issues. It is doable, but no one seems in a rush to do it. Maybe eventually.

There are some hacks to the fallen levels that fix this. Ooga's TFL Coops Plus allows for them to all be Myth 2 varients, as well as letting you use tagsets with it. There's also Myth 1: Soublighter, by me, on the tain, which is kinda like a worse version of that, it's a Tagset for the fallen levels that allows you to use Myth 2 units on the Myth 1 maps. Does cause balance issues, as well as not being able to use flame arrows.

It's funny but I can't remember the last time I played any Myth without vTFL turned on.
Okay I got the models but now I'm too dumb to do anything with 'em

I can't stand TFL, but I wanted to play the TFL levels with both variants. On crows bridge, my TFL archers missed a red soul with about 15 consecutive arrows at medium range. Just absolutely awful. Do TFL units max out their vetting at 5 kills also?
