How do you make the semi-visible ghost units? (ex. 16 the ibis crown and Mazz Demise)

It's done through scripting. Open the Ibis Crown in Loathing and finding the appropriate map actions shouldn't be too hard.

Create a unit control and have it trigger whenever you require it (if the units are there from the start and you want them to be ghosts right from then setting it to 'initially active' will do just fine.
Add the 'Monsters' option and select all the units you want to be ghosts. Then add the 'Ghost visibility' flag.
Now when your map opens all the units should be ghosts.

As a note, there is also a "50% transparency" option for if you don't want them constantly fading in and out.
