Sometimes you want to play with the computer as an equal, ie as if it were your friend or real player. Do you think there is any easy way to implement this?

It is not easy. The closest you can come up with is someone scripting a certain map, but it would still be limited.

I recall the Barbarian Valley solo playing very much like a 3 player game in which the computer plays two of the teams. it's kind of like Capture the Flag but with a moveable crystal(i forget) instead of a flag.
