Heres the details on my idea for a Map Campaign Based Tourney, I would try to host it but I'm busy with TFV, TK tagset, mapmaker alliance and I also have no skills in hosting a Tourney.
I believe my idea of a map based tourney would add a more interesting twist to fighting a tourney as if it were like playing coop but against smarter armies and advancing Territories.

Think of say the myth world map divided into 100 square territories,
and say you have 10 teams (indvidual player and/or MWC like),
each team would start with 10 territories,
for each territory would be a different multimap, example square 15 Desert between your ears,
a match would be fought on the map corrasponding to the territory,
players can only choose to attack 1 territory per turn,
thing is it would have to be directly next to one of the attacking players territories,
winner of that battle wins that territory if defender wins he keeps it,

in the case of more than one team attacking the same territory in a turn, play a FFA or if the map assigned is a two team like Desert between your ears then a turn system would randomly chosen.

Example 2 players attack square 15, map assigned Desert, is two player so Referee assigns randomly which people fight first, winner fights the third person, for example the attacks are randomly chosen to meet first, Attackers fight each other as they discover the other before coming apon defender, or one attacker reaches defenders lines and winner must fight off 2nd attacker,

every team would fight 1 attacking battle per turn plus any battles in which they have to defend,
the time limit on this Map Campaign based tourney could either be until there is only one player left standing or a turn limit say 20 - 30 turns, winner would be the one with most territories (in case of a draw winner would be one with most wins and territories, if still a draw the 2 winners fight a battle winner wins the Map Campaign Tourney and claims prize).

The details of the campaigns would be kept on a world map at tourney site, team tag displayed in the corner of each territory they control, teams would decide which territory their attacking by clicking a territory next to theirs which brings up their tag next to an attacking sign (for example ranked shield and axes for attacking sign). Map is updated after each turn for who won which territory. Games would be scheduled like in MWC so players know which battles their fighting in.

Hello Horus,

I would be interested in your idea. My Email is IamAbraxas@gmx.de. If you still believe in "myth risk", contact me.

I thought about a Myth Risk plug-in a while back. It would require some pretty innovative scripting to implement all of the specific rules with cards and unit placements. I think it's definately possible, but it wouldn't be easy.

Good luck if you take a shot at actually making it :)
