Running MacBook Air M1, 8GB, 512GB drive, OS Monterey 12.5.
Bought a legacy CD off Ebay, appears clean and undamaged.
Using known-good external CD drive, received "The disk you inserted is not readable by this computer" error. Computer can't see it at all.
Swapped CD drives: nope
Zapped Mac PRAM: No joy
Reset Mac SMC: nope
Installed Myth on GFs computer: no error
Help? I'm in the weeds.
