Stock maps cause m2 to crash?

Hey dudes, Whenever I play a stock map like The Wall or Desert or Float, Myth will suddenly crash about 3 mins into the game, as if I force-quitted or something. This doesnt happen to all stock maps, but it happens ONLY to stock maps. Is there anything I can do, save a reinstall, that can keep this from happening?

What OS are you running? Things to check are if there is anything in your local folder, and if (immediately after a 'crash') your myth_log.txt file contains any hints to the problem, unlikely but worth a shot.

Ah, sorry about that, i use windows XP home.

The computer is 3 years old, so I didnt think hardware could have been an issue. sorry about that.
