Hello, I'm a total new guy here! And I need help with a few things...
Ok, in Fear, there are collection referrences right? Those are the pictures and sprites of the game. (does that include the menu pictures as well?) and I was wondering how I could extract and edit them plus instert them back in...
now I know that there's some kind of mac version of some program to do that, but when will the windows version come along? Or is there a better way to do it?
Thank you for reading my post. Please reply....

Fear Help! Thanks
Welcome aboard Phillock. Collection References are not the actual graphics, those are simply called Collections. Collection References are another type of tag that help you use Collections in different ways.
Among other things, Collection References are used to adjust the hues and tints of a Collection. For example, if you could have a brown colored Trow and a grey colored Trow and they would both use the same Trow Collection, but they would each have their own Collection Reference tag.
Collection tags cannot be edited with Fear. The best tool for editing these tags is a Mac only tool called Amber. Sadly, there is no Windows version of Amber, not is there any plan to make one (the guy who made Amber left the Myth community long ago).
The closest thing to an Amber-like tool for Windows is a program called Tahoe. Tahoe has only limited functionality, but it's better than nothing. I'm not sure if Tahoe has the ability to extract interface graphics.
Both Amber and Tahoe can be downloaded from Project Magma's Hotline Server: hl.udogs.net
Hope this helps somewhat.
