Now that clem has joined Project Magma, I think we should close the forums to new members, just so his name shows up as the newest member for the rest of time. :p

This post started off with on a humourour tone, and just got nasty. I know it's impossible for clem to come here and for people not to hold some resentment, but it'd be nice if we could move on. The past cannot be changed, but we don't need to be spiteful in such a useless.

I know very little of Clem's past, but what little I know of him (mainly posts on PlayMyth and his work for FlyingFlip/Creation) it just plain great. My opinion is not to be trusteed tho :\

I'd also like to welcome Clem to our boards, but request that he leave the petty mock self flogging at the door. It's really tiresome to constantly hear about how you think, everyone else thinks your work was crappy, just save it for someone who cares.

I don't recall ever having heard a magma member indicate that your past work was somehow substandard. We might not see eye to eye very often, but we all recognize that you have some skillz, and have contributed significantly to this community.

On the contrary, I thanked clem in the readme of my map "A Shattered Visage", because his colormap tutorial helped me greatly. Clem's colormaps are always top notch.

clem dude, it's not the work you do, the work you do is just top notch, and you contributed a hell of a lot to make myth better, but lately, somehow each time you appear people start fighting each other.
It may not be important to you now, but the myth community is becoming smaller and smaller each day that passes, and the last we need to do is to divide it.
Stop trying to make yourself important and to have everybody talking about you dude...being bad or good.
cool down your ego, it's the community that matters and not your individual ideas.
It is great when you add, it sucks when you come and talk only about you.

Yeah, I think this feud has gone on long enough. I have held sort of a grudge against Clem for a while, but he has contributed quite a bit to the Myth community, and with such a small community, we should not fight. *wheezes*

I think the new Motto for Forum Fights should be "Take it inside" i.e. Playmyth, Marius, or a TCP/IP game.
