I just think if everyone would live in a more laid-back fashion when it comes to this forum, there'd be a lot less drama.

Ren needs to understand that he feeds criticism (warranted or unwarranted) by his very nature and that people will have opinions (and likely share them) no matter how hard he begs them not to,
whereas the people who heckle his project should understand that there is absolutely no benefit in doing so and they should at least wait until it's done before lampooning it.

It is very easy to get sucked into ludicrous conversations on this forum, we've all done it.

Hold on one sec, I'm just getting something from Washington ...

Yes ... yes .. right, thank you sir.

News just in - Ren, you don't run the planet. I was making an observation that related to something Zeph had said. I'm not going to start a new thread to respond to something that's in this thread. By even complaining about it, you only invite more offtopic banter.

To be on topic, though; why exactly are you having scripting problems?

Yea, not sure if you took notice Renwood, but you did post this in the GENERAL DISCUSSION Forum.

By doing so, regardless of what you say (cause nobody listens to everybody and everybody listens to nobody), it is a public forum where any individual can register an account, and post in your thread. Sad truth bro. Learn and and live with it.

If you take every criticism and bit of advice as being offensive and a 'stab' at your project, and decide to stab back as a result, it really really shouldnt surprise you why people heckle you and your methods.

Think of how much scripting could've been learned on your own in the amount of time you've sat there repying to people telling them 'dont reply in my thread'.

And in case you observed, I'm not giving advice OR help at this point. Just my opinion. And I promise you Renwood, regardless of how much you ask not to hear it, you're going to hear peoples opinions of you. You beg to be judged by the way you do things. Quit fighting it; embrace it if you're unwilling to change those ways. [<--- look, that was me telling you what to do, I bet you won't actually heed anything here though, a perfect example of why people are still replying in "your" thread]

but which will come first?

a) No one left to play Myth
b) TFV's release
c) The Wind Age's release

Can we get a pool going so we can bet on which will happen first? Maybe get some side betting on how close together the different events will occur?

Well, logically, A would most likely be last, as no one left playing Myth would kind of automatically make B and C highly unlikely events. So if B and C ever happen, they'll pretty much have to be before A.

Anyway, A's looking good, because I'll be playing Myth 'till I die, which is hopefully a long way off!
