Yeah when I first played Mazz V, seeing the new player units seemed out of place... only the first time or few times playing it. The new bad guys were even more out of place to Myth. But now it doesn't seem as odd.

While I agree with Horus on story and all that, Mazz to me and others apparently doesn't have to fit the norm of most plugins.

William, did you that in DoD after the first minute you can taunt your heart away and your units won't go to oblivion?

And as to the topic of making it easier like the suggestion of making wraiths not cause you to lose the long mazz game you have done... What would be the point of making an easier mazz? Mazz isn't a regular plugin, so why does it have to be easier. It is a hard level to beat and will either stay at that level of difficulty or get harder. With most plugins I would agree to make them not as hard, but not this one.

I just hope Mazz VI doesn't get longer than Mazz V timewise. It's hard enough finding a mazz game... it's even harder finding a mazz game with players that know how to use the units. I've been in some really lousy games because of new players to the map... some don't even know the map can last 2 hours if we don't die... and they drop. One cap claimed he was good... the rest of us were foolish enough to believe him... he was a horrible cap... he used the pyromancer to attacked and in the process killed several of our own units, we lost. The next match we did he wasn't cap but when he had to leave he used the pyromancer to do hellfire to our units before leaving. If he had to go, he doesn't have to ruin the game for the rest of us.

Why not? Besides sometimes the cap takes just about that time to issue out the units.

Sure it does, if the captain is Helen Keller.
I just like to taunt when I get my troops. To be honest, co-op has lost it's appeal to me anyway. Unless it's TFL.

The thing is that I accepted the Wraiths really easily as they were in character opponents (their Undead, and Mr TW specialises in the Undead).

I can accept the Pyro, Electro and Paladin (the forces of Light are always a diverse bunch), but when it comes to Beholders, Dragons etc that don't fit at all, (sure Beholders would be alright if you were fighting TFV The Red Terror Fallen Lord as he loves Demons etc) I just get really peeved...

If it fits great, if it doesn't and seems like it's put in just because it can be then don't expect me to like it...

There is even the opportunity to do small changes, like instead of a Dragon it could be a Zombie Dragon (undead) which would be great imo...
