It's being fixed as we speak, as Doobster mentioned in another thread. They updated the phpBB files which overrid their anti-spam stuff so it's just a matter of time before they again implement them.
Yeah that's one annoying thing about updating phpBB, when adding tweaks you have to keep track of the files they were in and re-apply if needed after updating.
I'm about to do the exact same thing on our forums.
