That seems to be what everyone did and is exactly my point. Myth III could have been something that stood on it's own. Going 3d had to change some of the gameplay just like changing collections in M2 will change gameplay. But it was too much change and too many bugs.

Sorry I wasn't very clear. I was actually talking about the gamespy vs bungie.net experience and not the actual multiplayer gameplay.

yea Bungie net's design i belive is still light years ahead of all other games out there that ive seen.

Ever seen other games with chat going on in the lobby?

a lot of times there is 1 lobby for like 1000 servers = chat scrolling by at insane rate.

Bungie net = 1 lobby for every 50 or so players = personal cool feel.

i didnt use gamespy though i used whatver the hell bungie net-ish thing mumbo jumbo made. I NEVER INSTALL GAMESPY!!! I HATES IT ACK ACK ACK!
