in the midst of making new 1.51 tagsets I've encountered a little frustration that could hopefully be easily fixed by a wise programer....
the problem is that in 1.51 for a unit to change sequences on a pick up it has to be in the same collection... this is great feature but has run me into a challenge in the way i make tags .... i have some huge collections for units now and amber will no longer export the color plate.... says it will be to large...
well i usually export and do some final bit clean up ie get rid of outlines etc... with a quick edit in photoshop ...
it would be great if someone could figure out a way for amber to export a larger color plate... would make my fine tuning a lot easier.
if anyone can do it that would be great...
also does anyone know if the over 100 sequences bug was in myth or in amber naming?
AMBER program help - any amber hackers out there
Hey Point,
Sorry I missed your question the first time around.
Oak will not impose a limit on the number of sequences a collection may have. I think that the limit of 100 is probably an Amber thing. The collection fileformat itself doesn't have any such restrictions, and 100 seems like an unlikely number for a Myth limit - bungie liked to use powers of 2 for all their limits

my main concern is the colorplate size extraction... would be great if didnt get the message the color plate will be to large to export... I have a large format printer so 36" wide by howerver long would be a max if i wanted to print out the sequence but basically just removing the what ever limits the color plate saving size would be great to edit in photoshop and 99 seemed to be the limit just because over 99 seemed to have strange bugs... not sure if its in 1.51 but before the wrong sequences sometimes showed up... probably a naming thing more than a limit...
