I want to use the sparrow unit.
It is broken in the tags and so flies sideways etc. Is there somewhere I can find a fix for this?

Yeah they're a bit too large by default. It's the rapidly flapping wings and blockiness which becomes really annoying very quickly though. Reducing their size makes them look much better. Probably this is why so few have used the sparrow; changing units' sizes is isn't something that's done very often.A-Red wrote:yeah, i bet. I always thought it was weird that they were the same size as the hawks.Eddaweaver wrote:Thanks, that works. They also seem to look alot better if their size is reduced to 0.500 in the object tag.
Urm, not wanting to be picky, but I fixed it, not TFV, it even has a sequence in it saying so =S
The main problem with the sparrow is that for some reason the images were imported the wrong way around, and it had no death sequence/projectile. So I had to make do with the images there, had to change most of the images a little just to get the really god-awful flapping sequence, hence the abundance of gliding, it looks horrible otherwise =)
I never understood why such a tiny unit with no real time requirement never got finished, it would have been about a 10-15 minute job since they already had the 3d model.

kk Horus, np =)
@eddaweaver
Yeah, but there's different versions of that floating around, what exactly do you mean it didn't work? The link Horus gave is the same though, so you can use that just as easily, just drop the tags in with your project and you're good to go.
