Os x install trouble - Won't install on multiple machines

Today I tried installing boths Betas 1 and 2 on four machines today. Two of them installed just fine and played great. The other two died at the install stage (Errors were found trying to install--or something like that). It quits at that point and dumps to the Finder.

Successful Machines
Dual G4 1 GHZ (original model)
iBook G4 laptop

Unsuccessful
Dual G4 867 Mirrored door
G4 466 SP

All machines have the latest updates running Panther. All machines have plenty of RAM.

We ended up just installing 1.4.4 and playing that way, but with no OpenGL (ugh), cuz it kept crashing. I assume that's known bug [in 1.4.4] since it was repeatable on all four machines.

Try running the installer for PB#2 a second time....there's some unexplained problem with that causes the installer to fail on some machines the first time.
