I have a p4 2.4 ghz windows xp professional SP1 rig w/ 120gb hd, 512mb ram, 64mb GeForce MX440. It is fully updated via windows update. Ive set my video card to default settings, and tried software mode in both games. It usually happens after a game is over, but sometimes freezes when im looking at the preferences. I have no idea what the problem is. Its not my RAM, or overheating. I've thoroughly cleaned my PC of unecessary programs. Ive removed all known spyware/adware. I don't have a virus. Ive removed most startup programs with MSCONFIG. Ive even created a new username, because sometimes that would fix problems i was having in the past with other applications. But as of late i can run everything fine with no lock-ups or crashes. But myth constantly freezes my PC. I am forced to restart. I am using 1.5b2 and i can play a few games at times. It is very random when it freezes. In the chat/game selection rooms i don't believe i have frozen yet. But once i join a game and am waiting to play i have frozen there. Like i said it usually occurs after a game. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled. I used myth 1.44 updater, then updated with 1.5b2. If any additional information is needed please let me know. Ive even checked my bios settings. I honestly believe it is the playmyth.net coding. Because both myth 1 version 1.4 and myth 2 1.5b2 completely freeze in a similar manner. Can someone please give me some ideas. Ive also updated my DIRECT X. I have not yet updated my video card drivers but i dont see how that would matter considering that i have had no problems with any other software. THANKS DTX!

Could you run dxdiag and save the results in a text file and email it to cik at projectmagma.net. I have a very similar box here I develop the windows version on, except it has a AMD cpu.
