Problem with Nightfall - Unable to extract

For reasons unknown to me, I cannot extract Nightfall using stuffit expander, and it claims to use that program.

I don't think so. I tried downloading it again, and had the same problem. I can extract it initially, but I just get a folder with another sit file, which will not extract. Very strange, as I DL'ed it long ago on my old computer and had no problems.

I get this same problem with JINN, or any sit files that are doubly compressed. I can extract the first sit file, but when I try to extract the second one contained therein, it says it is either in an unrecognized format, or that there is data corruption. I've tried re-downloading from different sites, and I still get the same problem. Anyone know of a program besides stuffit that can extract sit files?

Are you sure the second file is compressed and doesn't just have the icon? I would try placing the second file in your plugins folder without trying to extract it.

ah! I'd never considered that. I've got them both working now. Thanks TarousZars. Unfortunately, neither the Jinn mappack nor the tagset contained the opening cutscene. If anyone has it, I would really appreciate it if they could send it to me at robotom@compusmart.ab.ca
