Argh help please

So i was goofing around at the multiplayer login screen and i clicked the server button, tried PM blue then Marius then switched back to PM classic. When i logged back into PM all the games were red. Reinstalled 1.6.0 v286 and still red. Nothing in my local folder, can anyone help?

If you have the "Patch Mariusnet" file in your plugins folder (or something with Mariusnet in the title) remove it. Then you can play on PlayMyth.

And make sure you only have one PMI_PlayMyth file. Any extras in your plugins folder should be deleted.

Another simple solution to this problem is to just go back under the Servers menu and choose a different version of PM.. it is guaranteed to switch the second time, if it does by chance mess up the first time.

Because you are missing something or doing something wrong.

Make sure Myth II was installed in your computer.
Make sure you used the proper update.
Make sure you only have one of the following in your plugins folder:

Patch MariusNet
PMI_PlayMythBlue
PMI_Classic
PMI_PlayMythGreen
PMI_PlayMythRed
PMI_RockOn
PMI_WWII Theme

And if you are using any of the PMI files make sure you have "PlayMyth v1.2.1" as well.

The following files you should have in your plugins folder if you are updated:

Patch 1.2
Patch 1.3
Patch 1.4
Patch 1.4 Interface
Patch 1.5
Patch 1.5 Unity

If you did all this and standard games are still red, then start from scratch... reinstall Myth II and update it.

This is usually the problem though...

Either that or anything regarding the interface is changed in the local folder.

no no no pyro, i fixed it before that, i was replying to graydon that just changing to a different pm.net server didn't work.

Ah good, well I have seen when there are two PMI files in the plugins folder. So it is possible when you switched, it switched one but still had another PMI file. It has happen to me.
