Universal effects.. and such B32

I had compiled this tag of effects long ago for warfare... thinking of rolling into my concept for Base 32 map standards if anyone would like to trick out these feel free The amber collection should be in several of the locals in my folder...

I think some will need new alpha maps since those were probably lost in compiling into one tag... and several of the frames I took from war movies screen shots while watching so no alpha maps there for sure....

I prefer the old method, which is smoke(internal mst effect) + fire sparks(warlock and dorf collection)

r u referring to alpha maps?

any way this collection was made to defeat the collection reference limit which now is high enough that you can have many separate collections though all the monoliffic tags make it more convenient having them all in one tag.

and some of these blasts looked pretty good as hits for various artillery shots.

it woiuld look rather stupid if everyone started using the same explosions sprites.

umm last I checked they already do... lol this is an attempt or should i say an opportunity to expand beyond that ..

oye.. as in hey here are some more explosions and effects if some one wants to use something other than the defualt myth one..

the b32 is a universal standard i came up with that includes a bunch of monolific tags like this and a unit standard .. so making maps would 1 be easier and 2 could be made to work with the demo... so basically new mods could be played from the demo available for download for free ... and tagsets that used the standard would be made easily convertible to many different maps...

ie all the tagsets I am working on are easy to switch from one tagset to another on a map and its done in a lot simpler manner than trying to think which unit a dwarf replaces... also making it quick to switch out the color map collection for same sized meshes and have all the essentials all ready placed on the mesh...
