Bungie.net redesign

Post by Eddaweaver »

Bungie aka Microsoft has redesigned the bungie.net website.

The links to PlayMyth.net, Mariusnet and Aleph One downloads appear to have all been removed.

I've already began bugging Achronos on it all. If they don't show up soon, then have a cow.

Also, what makes you think M$ (Obligatory) is completely responsible for the redesign? It seems like a conscious effort to fix the flaws in the last site, and to present a new system in time for the Halo 3 Beta? It seems like common sense.
I decided to look up in the sky, and lo and behold there was a BoB. I stared at him, and he stared back. There was silence for a great while until he said in a thunderous, booming voice..."Okay, Okay, DON'T Frogblast the ventcore."

Because Bungie is Microsoft now - they're a division of Microsoft within the Microsoft campus. The website says "© 2007 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved"

Their site reminds me more of their old bungie.com (not .net) site from back in the day. Also, I like that their front page has a pic w/ all their old games combined.

On the other hand, links to Myth and Marathon community sites would be nice...

There are links to PlayMyth and MBO tucked away Here, although I'd much prefer more information on the Myth and Marathon pages (there's a huge column not being used.)
