myth world cup 2008 important

Post by king paris »

reposted from mariusnet.com wrote:listen, it's the 10 year anniversary of mwcs and myth2, we really should have seen it coming. but we didn't, and we didn't prepare well to get out to the rest of the players that play this game. we are the last of a group that play a certain, well i'll say, spectacularly crafted game. here's the thing, a majority of the community, online anyway, play in this tournament called the Myth World Cup 2008. Bungie even pays attention to this tournament, and this year the tournament is hosted by the most infamous Myth world cup organizer, grim. I understand that in years past you may have participated in it or heard something about it, and may have even got a bad vibe off of it. in reality, it is all that we have left to give tribute to this game, the annual Myth world cup tournament. Myth will not see a second generation.
with all of this in mind, i would like to personally invite you, as well as many other members of this 'tournament' community to join this tournament. there are currently 22 teams entered, and plenty of them need more participants and want you to join their team.

I think the 'issue' is that Magma and uDogs would only play in a tournament that had a handicap structure :) We haven't played as a team for years, and we'd suck like an industrial floor cleaner.

HeY! We did a tourney like over year ago! It was a disaster though. Good times.

I have played a grand total of 3 multiplayer games ever, and was still planning on getting my little crew to either form or join a team ;)

Double elimination means I still get to play two games!

QR rounds have 3games each. That's 9. DE usually has 3-5 games each. So you'd be playing about 15-19 games if you don't win a DE round.

If the Udogs are going to play, someone has to register a Udogs team :!:
