copied my myth 2 folder (c:\program files\Myth II) to a different folder and just installed v.1.6 to the original location. I then tried to run the exe file and it said that it couldn't find all the foundation files. Just for curiosity sake, i switched over to the copied folder and ran the old exe and it ran it fine. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions about what i'm doing wrong and how i could fix my little error.
if you've installed 1.6 into c:\program files\myth ii\ but you've moved the contents elsewhere, that explains why it isn't running. you need to install the update into the same folder as the game is running from.
Yeah I know for PC the default is "C:\Program Files\Myth II". Right click on the shortcut to Myth 2 that gives you this error and see what path it is looking for "Myth II.exe".
