I'd hate to have the same debate over at the ::cough:: forums again this year as we had last year because of 1.4 :nocomment: So is the patch coming out before June?
Also, is there there any possibility that it would support the old films? With the current patch all the old films go oos which is really a shame :surprised:
Question about 1.5 - When is it coming out?
1.5 Public beta will be released soon. Right now it's in RC status with the internal testing. The newer version will support 1.3 films but not 1.4. However, you can use the 1.4.x application to view your 1.4 films.
The release date is unknown atm so we're not really rushed into anything. We dont want another 1.4 scene here. Be assured it's getting worked on at a steady pace and if everything goes right, you can expect it by June.

Correct, no-one plays on linux because there's only 1.3.
Re abandonware, there's 2 ways that could happen. Either the company that owns the game state that they don't mind ppl dstributing it for free, or some site in Denmark decides to do it anyway and waits to see if the owner cares enough to protest.
95% of abandonware falls into the latter category, and no it really isn't legal. I very much doubt whether the current owners of the Myth games (United Developers for TFL/M2, Take 2 for PC Myth 3, Atari for Mac Myth 3) would do anything to make Myth free once its stopped being sold. They'll simply shelve it.
