Myth II 1.7.1 Classic PPC for Mac crashes on open

I installed from the total codex and opened it successfully. That was version 1.3.

After copying over the class build and files I tried opening again and it crashes at random times. Sometimes it will get to the point where it shows me a window titled "Myth II:Soulblighter" and another point it will just go to a gray screen, and even further sometimes it will open macsbug and show me an error. It does not always manage to save a log, but at one point it did save the log below.

I've tried reinstalling, deleting preferences, made sure local was empty, nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
