OS: Windows 7 32-bit
CPU Intel Pentium-M 1.8Ghz
GPU Ati FireGL T2 (Radeon 9600)
2GB RAM

Here is the log:

You don't need to set any compatibility mode.

The error log suggests that your data files may be corrupt.

Does it happen for every level you try to play, or only some?

Can you post the MD5 sum for each file in the "tags" folder inside the Myth II folder?

You can use this utility to get the MD5 sums:

I also installed it in Windows 98 in a VM, there under classic install it complained it couldn't find any device to use.

Can you post the contents of the myth log after running the game without any compatability mode? And yea try a few different levels to see if it isn't a specific issue.

I don't know anyting about MD5 sums, but that printout indicates to me that something isnt 100% about the Medium foundation tag. I believe it contains all the .geom files for levels, in which case if it IS corrupt, he'll have the issue on every level, as there's at least one geometry on every mesh in myth that it would call on that tag for.

I compared those to the sums for mine, which are:

MD5 (international large install) = 63de591595aba9521667b57120092b3e
MD5 (international small install) = 31d0cec54ed75a0fb49ebfc43aaef0da
MD5 (large install) = 6c473476d80e9f6fd069468d4b45be40
MD5 (medium install) = 5335a2d28f60f1b60fcb8745534484ac
MD5 (small install) = c390941fe0693503a841ed85961b54d8

Seems the only matching MD5 sum is "medium install". Are you using an international (non US English) copy of Myth II?

If not, then its clear there was some corruption to your tags. I suggest re-installing from a known good copy.
