Myth II Linux Beta Testing

We're starting (private) beta testing of Myth II 1.7.2 for Linux.

Is this a patch for the Loki Linux version or the Bungie Win/Mac version (or both)?

All versions of the game (Loki, Bungie win, Bungie mac) use the same game data files and are completely file and network compatible with each other. The only difference between the different platform distributions is the binary executable file. What we are beta testing here is a native Linux executable version of 1.7.2.

Finally a chance to play Myth on Linux! Been looking forward to this ever since I got Marathon running.

Running 64 bit install of Mint here. Just dug my CD out, would be more than happy to give a crack at it!

Just got the original version of Myth 2 installed on linux (on an HP netbook for that matter) and would love to try 1.7.2. I have quite a few different computers to try it on if you are looking for a range of computer speeds and efficiency (and linux types).
