D-Day 1944 Not Working
D-Day 1944 Not Working
None of the Normandy plugins are working on 1.8 right now. Only the multiplayer maps are loading. The low and high resolution versions are not loading, even when WW2 1.1 units are used with the old one.
Re: D-Day 1944 Not Working
hey, by coincidence I checked the forums...haven't been around in ages
didn't know people still played those maps! really glad to hear that!
I think it has to be with a weird checkered box that appears in those maps on 1.8
not sure if it's the shadow's map or something that creates a weird checkered area and makes them crash
I think same thing happened long time ago, then I fixed it, and somehow 1.8 creates the same...
sorry, don't have time to fix it now, but will try after the holidays.
cheers

Re: D-Day 1944 Not Working
No prob, just wanted to bring it up. I had been waiting for a final version to come out... [Complete with unit taunting ].
Re: D-Day 1944 Not Working
sorry, I haven't been at mapmaking for a while now...
but definitely will check that problem, it has to be with a corrupt color map I think, somehow it happens on 1.8 and not on 1.7

Re: D-Day 1944 Not Working
seems only a few levels work on 1.8 ... Something definitely to be figured out and listed as bugs for 1.8 updates to address...
if one does not learn from the failings of the past they are likely to suffer its return.
Re: D-Day 1944 Not Working
Still waiting for the status bar problem with 1.8 to be fixed.... should be able to click through it when panning forward with mouse. Yes this does make a huge difference.
