Yeah I got a message that the datacenter that it runs on is being targeted by a DoS attack so they've shut down incoming access for a few hours. I'll take a look again when I get home today and hopefully stuff is sorted out by then.

also might just be an excuse for some other internal failure

nonetheless, nothing could be done about it, that's what it means to be at the mercy of someone else's systems

Yeah it wasn't totally clear from the e-mail whether it was specifically targeted at GoS or a wider target... I can't imagine why anyone would care to DoS GoS either

Maybe playmyth or mariusnet are planning a comeback and launched a DDOS attack to undercut player's confidence in GoS....
