I won't be able to create another mesh or another projectile as long as we won't get a few utilities that can load under 10.3 or better, and I expect other people to be in my conditions.
Classic isn't a solution. Not only it's considerably slow, but it also takes ages to load. Installing Mac OS 9 can really clutter your hard disk. Trust me, I know since I work with Macs since System 7.
Taking ages for releasing Mac OS X tools could really let people lose interest in the game and eventually kill Myth. I'm especially looking for Fear, Loathing [done], Tag Extractor and Amber.
Have a nice day.
[IMPORTANT] Mac OS X Tools!
At this point we have several people working on various tools for Mac OS X. Some have been in process for years. I can't promise when any of them will ship or even if they will be completed.
What I can say, unless someone who knows Metrowerks PowerPlant inside and out shows up Fear won't get ported to OS X. There are some replacements for Fear in process(see above). If someone could find the author of Amber and get him to give us the source for Amber we could probably port that to OS X. In the mean time there is a project underway to replace it(see above again).

Hey, speaking of OS X, and therefore PPCs...
What about special Mac builds of Myth II with the optimization options checked for AltiVec and multi-processor support (in Xcode). Have you guys tried that to see if there are any performance improvements? What about 64-bit optimization (we're talking auto-opt., not hard coding that sort of thing!)? Do any of the devs even have a G5 system, by the way?
Well, I eagerly await new tools for us OS X users. I also would like to do anything I can to help.

Waagh!
