I installed 1.8.3 and am having problems with the game size. It is only about 25% of screen and I cannot get to fill screen. Any ideas on how to expand to full size.
Thanks.

Re: Having a problem with game screen size and tagsets
Thanks for the response. It was helpful. I can get certain solos, but still not Fort Mazz, which was my favorite. I am going to detail problems a bit more in anew post.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Having a problem with game screen size and tagsets
I am trying to get back to playing Myth after years away. I am having problems setting up on new computer with Windows 10. I used to have all this down, but lost it. First, I set up with original disk. I can play Myth II Soulblighter, but it comes out with only about 1/6th of screen filled and I can...

Re: Can't View Plugins
I don't have a laptop. I've been doing alot of experimenting. Frankly, some work and some don't. The WWII and Civil War tagsets work, the Wild West doesn't. Gettysburg plugin works with the CW tagset, but I can't get any of the WWII solo plugins to work, alone or with the WWII tagset. Other solo plu...

Re: Can't View Plugins
I have consistently been holding down shift when I click OK after activating. That being said, I do not know which might require other plugins or are multiplayer. If you have a specific one that you would like me to try I would be happy to. Also, are there some other ones that change only tagsets so...

Re: Can't View Plugins
Of the plugins on the original disc the ones that worked fine are "Assassin" and "Wild West v2". I activivated them and they immediately showed on the left main selection menu. No luck with any of the others. Realizing that some may just change tags, i.e. the WWII ones worked fin...

Re: Can't View Plugins
I'm glad the update exercise is behind me, thanks for everyone's help. Now, as far as the plugins. I am having trouble. I am using using only those which were included on the original disc, so I would think that they should have worked just fine with the original dics. I am holding shift when I clic...

Re: Can't View Plugins
I deleted classic and downloaede Modern and put in the Myth II file. I then clicked on the Modern file. I can now hear it but no picture on the screen. Guess I am getting closer. Here you go. 2010-02-14 14:59:51 Myth II Build 352 running under Modern Windows 6.000000 --------------------------------...

Re: Can't View Plugins
It doesn't open and I get the message "Could not find all the required patch files. Please reinstall the 1.7.1 Public Beta 2 Update". When I extracted I only got a single .exe file is that correct.

Re: Can't View Plugins
Just tried it. I downloaded it and extracted the file. There was just a single Application file. I moved it into the main Myth II file. When I tried to open the game the older version (vl3) still comes up. I tried deleting the old file but then it doesn't open at all. Hope that helps.

Re: Can't View Plugins
Thanks so much for the quick response. Reading the page for your link I notice that it says that the file is not an installer. Do I need to download it directly to the main Myth II folder, i.e. not one of the subfiles. Also it appears that it is a zip file file. Will it need tro be unzipped?

Re: Can't View Plugins
One other thing, I noticed a "Myth log" in the Myth folder. It says: Myth II Build 329 running under Modern Windows 6.000000 Loading poweruser.txt... not found. Scanning for software devices... Found 1 to use Scanning for Direct3D devices... Found 1 to use Scanning for 3Dfx devices... Foun...

Re: Can't View Plugins
Sorry I'm not the most technically proficient. I tried to update to 1.7. I downloaded 1.7 and saved to my desktop. Then I downloaded the 1.7 Installer and saved to desktop. I ran the Installer then ran the 1.7 file. When I then tried to open Myth II the screen just blinked and didn't open. Obviously...
