Re: Display a date on posts listing maps?

Agreed. Been missing since the start. Dates help with context, and other stuff.

False Ratings/Artilheiro

Hate to bring this up, but I suggest an admin do something about the bizarre campaign "Artilheiro" has been upon, over at the archive. Having played Artilheiro's maps, no doubt a decent mapmaker. But this phony 5-Star stuff isn't good. With excuses that sound like labels on ludicrous Parti...

Re: World’s Ultimate Myth Maps Collection

Well! I see this Internet Archive has a copy of Ninja Dwarfs 2.0. Hadn't seen that in many suns and moons. Just tried it and it's every bit as nuts as I remember. You might be able to do the entire Myth 2 solo in 5 minutes. Balin San of the Dragon Dojo for the win!

Re: Myth as a movie... thoughts?

So many cool ideas get lost in Hollywood. I was surprised to see The Wheel of Time finally got made. That was floating around for years and went through all kinds of stuff having originally been put into a feature film format (two movies or three). Never seen The Wheel of Time series, but I heard it...

Re: World’s Ultimate Myth Maps Collection

Holy moly! This Internet Archive page is completely off the rails. I don't think I've ever seen so many Myth files in one place. Downloading now! I think this pretty much puts an end to the arcane old "The Mill" archive floating around. That place went away like, 18 years ago? This new arc...

Re: TO IRON:

I for one would love to see someone do something to technically convert old TFL stuff to work in Myth 2. Probably because I have way too many old TFL films I can't watch anymore without some emulator eating a hole in my laptop.

Two plugins uploaded, both Thoran "unreleased" maps. Cheers.

Re: Myth as a movie... thoughts?

Hm. You'd have to be pretty short-sighted these days, to make a Myth *movie*. But a Myth series, perhaps Netflix or Amazon? That's a different story. There's certainly enough material for a minimum of two seasons. Rich and deep. A couple issues with that, however. First, I'm not sure how many of you...

Re: Plugin to quiet Announcer in Multilayer

Don't know why I didn't think to do this before, but I'll just go ahead and post this Samuel L. Jackson goodness to the archives. Look for it Soonâ„¢.

Re: Myth New n Tasty

I've tried both of these, "Tasty" and the oogaBooga-assisted HD verison. Both have large strengths and weaknesses, and add much to the game. Too bad they can't somehow become combined--- but I reckon there's way too much nasty personal politics and fell history to allow for that.

Shame.

Re: Plugin to quiet Announcer in Multilayer

Slightly off topic, but anyone remember the wannabe Samuel L. Jackson plugin "BlueMythII"...? Wasn't really Sam, of course, but most of the announcer cues were replaced by a semi-sound-alike chap. Really great stuff, most especially in multiplayer. Definitely R-Rated. Some remembered cues:...

Re: Flavor Texts

A bit off the subject---maybe---but has anyone ever stopped to read the flavor texts and names of the Mahir? Great stuff. There was also a plugin long ago that had some very interesting modifications to the Soulless flavors and names. Damned if I can remember it, but there was one entry in particula...
