TFL problems 1.4.5 and 1.5

I was playing TFL 1.4.5 and I came across a bug, on the map Heart of Stone for the single pllayer campaign the bridge would not appear when I activated the four pillars in the corners. I had a berzerk next to each one. The bridge would not appear, I know it is supposed to work because I did in 1.3.

I downloaded the 1.5 update and copied the save folder to the new local folder, just like it said and when I started the program and tried to continue a saved game there were no saved games. I still have the old version of 1.4.5 so if you know any way to fix either bug I would appreciate it. Did I do something wrong?

From dim & distant memory, I believe there was something screwy in the code for the scripting that makes the bridge appear. In original TFL it worked, but the same sourcecode built with modern compilers it doesn't (or didn't unless one of the developers has found the cause and fixed it).

I know that when I ported the level to Myth 2 as part of the Fallen Levels I had to totally rewrite that part of the script to get it to work.

It was actually fixed for TFL 1.5. It was a result of generating a tag name or some such in the CoreLibrary code.

I'm not sure that saved games from 1.4.5 work in 1.5.

Does that mean that the LOCK action will finally work in Myth 2 as well?

If it's the same function as the one with the bug it works differently in Myth II then in TFL. 1.4.5 films will work in 1.5 with the exception of where this bug showed up.

In what way does it work differently? Just curious, as afaik its never worked at all in Myth 2.

Did you resolve this issue? I ran into the same problem with 1.4.5, downloaded 1.5, and now cannot figure out how to use my 1.4.5 saved games. They show up in the saved game list, but I can't choose them.
