Computer Games
Well shit, since my new computer is on its way, I've suddenly been exposed to screenshots of games. Now I'm wondering what good PC games out there exist, something related to myth that I might like, but isn't all about graphics, because I like gameplay. The Need for Speed: The Run game i mentioned earlier was getting bad reviews because it played like crap. Arcade style racing games can be annoying because they are so unrealistic. Any other realistic racing games out there you guys recommend?
Re: Computer Games
I wouldn't say it's super-realistic, but the best racing games I've played are the Dirt series from codemasters (they are rally-focused, although there's also "Grid" from the same folks that is more track stuff). They hit a really great spot between realism and fun IMHO and work great in multiplayer.
You can get the Dirt 2 demo (maybe even 3, dunno) on Steam and see if you like it. If you do, Dirt 2 is on sale right now for $10 (!). Dirt 3 is also great and on sale for $25.

Still a work in progress, but it has a good team of developers and artists moving it forward, and you pay nothing at all
