Custom formations aren't available in a saved game

Opening a saved game both on the Bagrada server and as a local game looses all of my saved unit groups and my formations. As an example I have a custom formation that is a long line with widely spaced units. When recalling that same formation by the numbers I get a box formation of units. Is there a way to resolve this?

Hi, can you post your myth_log.txt from your attempt to load your saved game when this happens.
