New smilies & avatars are added. If you still see the old smilies with the white background, clear out browser cache/history. As a last resort, reload every smilie to see the new ones.

is there any possibilty to put a limit on what colours can be used for text? for some reason I don't think zappo blue would go very well here

One request (no offense) is to limit sigs to 50-75 characters, no images in sigs, and no modifiable font size in sigs. That is, unless you want this place to start looking like counterstrike forums. The avatars can already be big enough to accommodate people's needs for a gfx representation.

Also, could the standard text be white instead of off-white-beige? I realize the latter looks much prettier, but, damn my eyes!
