hey there!,
this is a local containing everything I have regarding my mythIII to mythII port. It hasn't been worked on for years, and I doubt I ever will, so I'm giving everything I made to the community in hope someone will find it useful.
feel free to use it for whatever you want, finish it, ruin it, rip models/scenery/units from it, do as you please*. There is a lot of stuff here, most of it unfinished and untested, so all of it still needs work...
WARNING! this project is unfinished, even though a lot of it is playable, it will sometimes crash, things are missing/incomplete, so don't expect a working total conversion after downloading this 400mb package...
solo: -map 1 to 5 are close to finished, there is a 'hard' mesh included which are (with the exception of the first map) unfinished (as far as I remember) - the rest of the solo maps are also included, all the meshes are there, most are playable (the ones that aren't are marked red)
multi: - there are 3 working multiplayer maps included (season of slaughter, pepper heights and over myrgard) they're playable and need some tweaking... - there are 2 extra meshes included, based on solo maps, these are playable but still need work...
resources: - lots of colormaps with displacement maps which can be used to jumpstart your own creations... - a few new units (spearman/heartguard, female peasant, connacht (wolf version) (some of these are still missing shadows I think...) - a bunch of scenery (mostly for the shrine level) - a few new models (a new bridge (and a version of it at a 45ยบ angle) and the shrine model) - other things... not sure... just go through it all, you might find something cool!
that's it, the end of a project for me, hopefully the start of something great for someone else...
*) none of my original work (collections/colormaps/tags) can be used for commercial projects (such as MythIV by Renwood & co.)
