this upload must be a mistake. a red and blue map with lava bubbles and that is all? with music playing? how does a map like this have more than 450 downloads of it? the IDIOTS have made many cool maps but this is not on of them i am afraid.
Forge of Tharsis is an underwhelming mod that takes the player to an underdeveloped landscape to fight shadow entities and a demon lord. That is it. There is no plot, and nothing feels to be at stake. It lacked the epic feel that Myth II's The Forge carried! The scenario only involved taking a prominent host of units and carefully maneuvering them across the mysterious realm. Honestly, I thought Forge of Tharsis made with minimal effort. I found this approach to mapmaking unfortunate because I feel like this mod was a missed opportunity for something grand. I strongly recommend giving this mod a pass because I don't think it is entertaining. :(
