The Tain

This is full of hilariousness, and the bloopers and read me that comes with it is worth a watch also!

Great plugin. Some pros and highlights:

(1) Large scale battles! I didn't see much of this in regular Myth and it was great to see and play in big battles. The war cry by the charging soldiers was a nice touch.

(2) Original story, humorous.

(3) Hilarious use of children's voices and drawings.

(4) The modified Mauls really look like Orcs.

Some cons:

• Too much reliance on David the Mage. I would have nerfed his powers a little and strengthened the other heroes, e.g., by giving each of them a special ability that could also damage multiple units.

Thsse crazy "Freedom" series of plugs. Are they somewhat crude? Yes, and I find that part of their charm. But they are filled with fresh, original work, silly and funny twists and turns, kooky original characters, thorough READ ME files with credits clearly given, a semi-thoughtful storyline and execution, original sound samples and narration, and some great gameplay.
