I got the strategy guides with the Total Codex, and although they aren't of any practical importance for the veteran players who make up most of the community (who would consider most of the guide's advice obvious), they are fun to read, and I'm sure that any actual new players would find them very helpful (I certainly did back in the day).

As I tell everyone who doesn't ask me, the TFL guide's solution to getting Balor's head into the Devoid is approximately five million times more awesome that healing Soulblighter and walking up to the pit, which shouldn't even have been allowed as an option. Just saying.
