Re: Official 1.7 Public Beta 2 Bug Reporting Thread
Myth II insists on playing full screen now when a level loads, even though the lobby/menus run in Windowed and the Windowed box is checked. EDIT: Only an issue in high res - anything that starts with '1280 x'. And it also messes up the way Myth looks too, it all looks like it should be wider than it...

Lazy hosts don't have to activate any plugins if they don't want to - they can just stick to the standard Bungie maps, but that doesn't really seem like an issue to me at all. I was always pretty sure that part of why the TFL multis were so popular was not just that they're good maps (there's lots ...

If there IS a map-pack I suggest that like the TFL multis it be a single plugin that compiles a lot of maps. Rather than something like the OOH map-packs which contain lots of plugins. If you can turn on all the maps in one go, it makes people MUCH more likely to bother. As Graydon says, they're dea...

And I'd guess that as less competitive players, they're more likely to be the ones without 1337 gaming PCs...if anyone objected to the adding of more maps I'd expect it to be them. So because they like coop, they must have old computers, but if they like multiplayer more they have newer comp...

Like I said, lets start small and try deciding on a few maps to DEFINITELY include - ones that no one debates inclusion of. I think we'd started to make progress there before getting sidetracked. And lets get a poll on MariusNet.com and either tws.vitalsinerecords.com/tourney or the MWC09 forum whic...

I wish there was a third option, the indifferent option. Sure having some maps added to the default removes that one step of activating the plugins and makes sure everyone has it. However, if people are that lazy, well... there is a plugin filter now. Type a few letters and the list of plugins only...

While there is some disagreement over Baak's plugs being included here as far as I can tell from a quick read, I think the key point to take from this debate and the poll is that lots of people would like to see the maps added. Why not add the ones we can AGREE on then debate adding further ones (su...

"sound effect lag"?
OK, it's a weird problem this one. I hung on for the new patch in the hope maybe Vista just hates Myth and this would fix it. I get lag on sound effects. In game sounds are FINE. So are units in co-op chatting. The "hey" and "pst" for chat, and things like "game over" a...

The only MAJOR Myth site I can think of that's hosted on a free site like that that isn't run by a community member active enough that we can contact them is the MWC98 site...that's on tripod thankfully. If one of these sites is dying though (and AOL last year it seems), the rest must be on the way ...

It isn't mentioned if the Total Codex can or cannot be destroyed. Besides, no one was talking about the Total Codex. We were talking about the TFL narrator's journal. And GodzFire, Elf didn't imply the M2 narrator was the same as the TFL narrator, just that maybe the M2 one read the TFL journal. We...

Someone mentioned the voice thing. I always felt in TFL the man reading the journal aloud is the Myth II dude after he got the book. That'd make total sense wouldn't it? Explains why it's the same voice. The book survived the mega explosion. So it is plausible a person did too. Sure the book had som...
